The Link

2 Corinthians 5:18 NLT

And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ.
And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.

The link that God created in us. What we consider an emptiness that we all try to fill with some means or another like drugs, alcohol or other junk is actually a link to our heavenly Father. It was created by Him for a close communion with us. He loves us and wants to be in close communion with us. He loves us and made a way for us. What we see as an emptiness is actually a provision. A link to Himself. We are loved, valued, wanted and created for a purpose with a link. A link to the Father to be whole. To be complete in Him. Thank you Lord for the link. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man comes to the Father, but through Him. (John 14:6)

  1. An interesting observation: “What we see as an emptiness is actually a provision. A link to Himself.” Would that every person who feels empty would see that emptiness as a link. I’ll pray for that!

    1. I am so glad that God used my blog to touch you today. He is so good to us. You are so welcome! It is the least I can do considering all that He has done for us. I just am thrilled to be used by Him in such a powerful way. May He continue to minister to you throughout this day and draw you ever so near to His side. Sincerely, Donna
