When Things Don’t Go Your Way

Psalm 32:8 God will instruct me and teach me in the way I should go. He will guide me with His eye.

Lord, grant me peace beyond all peace and strength for the journey.  Let Your light and love surround me. Be the beacon to those around me. Let me shine with Your brilliance, Lord (Matthew 5:14-16).

When I am down, I know You are there to help lift me up. You are the lifter of my head (Psalm 3:3). I thank You for the position and place You have put me in. I know my life is directed by You (Proverbs 20:24). Lord, let me rest in that knowledge so that I will always walk in a path of peace (Isaiah 26:3).

To have You Lord, the God of the universe, leading and guiding me…I mean wow. I can finally rest. I am secure in your arms. I have found what my soul has needed all along. I have found peace in Your arms. Your love enveloping me and surrounding me. I feel like I can leap over buildings with a single bounce. I am just so happy and secure in You.

Seriously, Lord, You are so amazing. You are everything I have needed. I praise You and I thank You for your goodness to me. I love You Lord.

Forever,

Your servant,

Donna (Put your name here if you agree)
