Light of God’s Word

Isaiah 40:8 NKJV The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.

Father, We thank You that we can find happiness and contentment in life as we follow You and do what is right according to Your blessed word.

Thank You, Lord, that You have provided us a way to walk in, so that our thinking, behavior and knowledge of who we belong to is complete in You. There is nothing that we lack, no good thing that You withhold from us (Psalm 84:11). You are good and Your mercy endures forever (Psalm 136:1).

Thank You for the light of Your gospel that provides peace and stability. Any time we ever need any answers they can be found in Your word. It is Your desire that Your children walk close to You. You have given us the most holy scriptures to guide us and speak to us. Your word educates us and brings us freedom.

Please continue to work in our hearts, Lord, as we learn to walk the right way and do the right things. We so want You to be pleased with us. We adore You, Father. Bless and praise Your holy name forever! In Your name Jesus we pray. Amen.
