While We Are Alive

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NASB There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a time for every matter under heaven—
A time to give birth and a time to die;
A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted.
A time to kill and a time to heal;
A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to weep and a time to laugh;
A time to mourn and a time to dance.
A time to throw stones and a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace and a time to shun embracing.
A time to search and a time to give up as lost;
A time to keep and a time to throw away.
A time to tear apart and a time to sew together;
A time to be silent and a time to speak.
A time to love and a time to hate;
A time for war and a time for peace.

While we are alive, Lord, may we magnify Your name.

While we are alive, Lord, may we walk in a way pleasing to You, our sweet Savior.

While we are alive, Lord, may our thoughts, actions and motives be in alignment with the truth of Your word.

While we are alive, Lord, may we reach the goal You have set for us in the race that each of us runs separately.

While we are alive, Lord, may Your glorious light shine through us to a lost and dying world.

While we are alive, Lord, may we accomplish what Your will is for our lives.

While we are alive, Lord, may we ever remember to put You first and seek Your will in all things.

While we are alive, Lord taking every breath that You give us, may we find favor in Your eyes.

With all my heart, Lord, I pray, while we are alive.

Bless Your holy name King Jesus.

Bless and praise Your holy name forever.

Your servant
