Love Letter to God

Dear God,

I love You. I pray that You would pour Your Holy Spirit out on me. Lord, I  ask for this anointing / empowering to touch my soul. Cleanse me with the water of Your word (Ephesians 5:26). Help me to see people, places and situations as You see them.

I know that You see everything perfectly through eyes of love and compassion. That’s why I need Your help, Father. I see in a limited fashion, You see the eternal (Psalm 93:2).

You are all knowing, all powerful and most loving. There is nothing too big or powerful for You. You ARE power. You ARE wisdom. You speak and the earth bows. There is NOTHING that You can’t do (Luke 1:37). You are the MOST holy, righteous, generous and One and only God of the universe. You are creator God and You are my friend (John 15:15).

I bless You and praise You for Your goodness to me and to all who would accept Your most precious gift of salvation. I love You Lord.

Who is there like You? None! No-one can even try to do or be the awesomeness of Your being. There is no human person who could create gravity, the world and hang it in space. No-one who could make the sun and the moon and make them to shine in the day or night. And what about oxygen for the air we breathe? The small little molecules of our existence. Who could create them? I declare that no-one can make the world that You have created. As powerful as the ocean is, it is limited to the shore. It stops where You tell it to. You are the only One to speak to the sea and it obeys You. Your power is limitless.

 I adore, praise and love You. You do Everything and You still have time for me. You work everything out for my good. You prepare the way. You talk to me and through me.

You are The Light, the great I AM, Jehovah Jireh (my Provider), Prince of peace, Holy One, Lord of lords, King of kings, the Beginning and the End. You hold the keys to death and hell.

You amaze me with every breath I take. I just want to live my life in such a way that it makes You happy Lord. Please help me to continue to serve You, saying and doing things that make You happy with me. Here I am Lord, Your pen, continue writing Your story through me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
