Psalm 23:4
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
Even though I walk….
Walk is to move at a regular pace by lifting and setting down each foot in turn, never having both feet off the ground at once.
Through the valley…
Valley is a low area of land between hills or mountains….and here’s the part I needed…typically with a river or stream flowing through it.
Of the shadow….
Shadow is a dark area or shape produced by a body coming between rays of light and a surface.
Of death….
Death is the end of a life.
I fear no evil….
Evil is immoral and wicked.
For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff they comfort me….
For God is with us. Leading, helping, protecting and defending the flock. That gives us comfort.
I love this Psalm. It gives us hope and security.
This world is not our home. One day we will all face that valley that shadow of death. But know this, dear Christian, we are not alone.
Though it may seem dark right now, rest in the assurance of His word. He will never leave us or forsake us. Even in this verse look again at the definition of a low place. Typically, it has a river or stream flowing through it. God, even in our darkest hours, has provided His children with the stream of His strength and comfort. I like how it says typically because if You do not know The Stream or acknowledge Him…how can He help you?
You have to know God and know that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
If you are going through a valley right now and you do not know the Lord, I beg you to please stop right now and ask Him to come into your heart. If you already know Him, pray please for the lost reading this that their eyes would be opened and hearts receptive to the Good News!
God loves you.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
The Romans Road Verses
We are all sinners
Romans 3:10, 23 As it is written “There is none righteous, not even one” For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
The wages of our sins is death
Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Jesus paid our sin debt on the cross
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Salvation comes by faith, that is, by confessing with our mouths and believing in our hearts
Romans 10:9, 10 That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Call on the Lord for salvation and get saved
Romans 10:13 For “Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Here is a simple sinners prayer
Dear God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I admit to You that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.
I believe that Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.
You said in the bible that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that You raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.
Right now I confess with my mouth, Jesus is my Lord. With my heart, I believe that You, God Almighty, raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own Lord and personal Savior. According to Your Word, right now I know I am saved by the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Now you can experience the peace that only a relationship with our Savior can provide. Welcome to the family dear brother or sister in Christ. Now you are a new creation the old is gone. I would suggest you pray and ask God to direct you to a Bible believing church. The bible says… not forgetting the assembling of yourselves together. (Hebrews 10:25) Be blessed my friends. If you have accepted Jesus as your Savior please let me know in the comment section.
