Make the Time Today

Galatians 6:10 NASB So then, while we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith.

How many opportunities do we have during our days to do good? Remember it is the little things that make a big difference. A smile could make the biggest difference in a person’s day. If they are down, your smile could be the best or even the turning point to their day.

Pray and ask the Lord to lead you to those who need a smile or perhaps even a word of encouragement. Don’t ever forget the great impact our words have on people. It was by the spoken word God set the world and all that is within it in existence. Everything that was or is, is here because He spoke the word. Genesis chapter 1 goes into full detail of how God created everything.

Isaiah 42:5 This is what God the LORD says- the Creator of the heavens, who stretches them out, who spreads out the earth with all that springs from it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it

He can and will still use us to speak to each other.

1 Thessalonians 5:11 Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

Offer gifts of encouragement by speaking to others with the love of God. Let Him guide your tongue.

Psalm 141:3 Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.

He knows which children need to hear what word and He will supply it. The word comes from Him. Just be faithful and ready for Him to speak to your heart and say to you…Go, Say or Do. Then go, say or do what He says in His power and strength. Others will be blessed from Him  through you and your obedience.

Don’t give vain flattery to tickle peoples ears temporarily leaving them feeling better but search your heart, pray and give them something from the Lord.

Colossians 4:6 Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.

He alone can heal. That He will do through us sometimes. Isn’t that exciting to be used by the Father in such a way?

Psalm 32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

All we have to do is be willing to sacrifice a little time. The time it takes to pray first of all for His direction. The time to go where He wants you to go. The time to say that which He wants you to. Today I wonder, do we have the time?

Love your sister in Christ,

Donna Marie

Father God,

You are so awesome. Your power is undeniable. You spoke and the world came into existence. There is no-one like You. Thank You for salvation and for the gift of Your Holy Spirit Who guides and directs us. I pray for a total anointing on your people. Please let our eyes be opened to the things that You want us to do or say. We are here and we are willing to go where You send us. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
