Grace

Hebrews 4:16 NIV Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Grace is God’s favor to the unworthy. So we come boldly (confident, courageous) to receive His mercy and His favor. (approval, support)

Ephesians 2:4-5 NASB But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)

It is because of God’s great love for us, not anything we have done, He is rich in mercy. God made us alive together  in Christ while we were still sinners. It is because of His favor to the unworthy  that we have been saved. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Acts 20:24 NIV However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

Is our aim to finish the race and complete the task that God has given us? Are we testifying to the good news of God’s grace? Are we telling others that He loved them so much He sent His Son so that none would perish? That is the gospel friends. We need to share the gospel with everyone we know. The time is indeed at hand. No man knows the exact hour (Matthew 24:36), His word tells us this, but we know the signs that point to His return. We know we are told to be ready. (Mathew 24:44) I declare we are also told to go and tell others so that they can also know this good news that we know. (Matthew 28:18-20 and 2 Timothy 4:2-6)

On a personal note I like to share the gospel at least once with everyone I know. I  always tell them this….listen I am not going to tell you over and over again I just want to share Jesus with you at least once because I really believe there is a heaven and a literal fire and brimstone hell and I care about you. If you believed there was a heaven and a hell wouldn’t you want to share with me to keep me from going to hell for all eternity? That’s one way to approach someone close to us. For a stranger I like to start with, If you were to die tonight, would you be 100 percent sure you would go to heaven? If they say no I ask if I can share with them how to be saved according to the Bible. Then I show them John 3:16 and say that is how much God loves you. Then go to Romans 3:23, 6:23, 5:8, 10:9-10

Have a sinners prayer ready (link at bottom to blog never let us go has a sinners prayer) and if they accept the Lord and say the prayer then share Romans 10:13 with them. Encourage them to go to a bible believing church and tada joy shall be in heaven over that one sinner that got saved. Praise God! Be encouraged brothers and sisters to share the good news! I declare there is such joy you will find in leading a soul to Christ. There are more than just these ways I shared. If you have another way I’d love to hear about it in the comments section.

Pray with me please

Dear heavenly Father,

Great are You and holy is Your name. Today we, Your children, come boldly before Your throne asking You to help us share the gospel with others. Place us in the path of anyone You want to hear the message of salvation with. Please give us the right words and let them be receptive to the message. If they reject it, Lord, help us to remember they are rejecting You, not us. Let it not keep us from moving forward and sharing with others. Oh, Lord, we ask You that many would come to You even through this blog. We love You with all our hearts. Praise Your holy name forever. Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus name, Amen.
