Isaiah 30:21 NASB Your ears will hear a word behind you, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever you turn to the right or to the left.
Being directed is the thought for today. It seems there are signs everywhere reminding us of important things. There are road signs telling us what the lawful speed is to travel, along with a host of other signs for controlling traffic. There are signs at airports showing us where things are for example; restroom, food, drinks, gifts etc. etc. The pilot has letters, numbers and colors to guide him. All around us we are surrounded by signs. Signs at school, places of employment just to name a few. We are surrounded by signs telling us something, helping us as we navigate our world.
I declare that the bible is our greatest sign. We are hurting ourselves when we don’t read or know the bible, our “roadmap” for life. The Lord has breathed through His word, our direction. He loves us and has given His children the answer to every problem we might have. All that we have to do is be obedient to His word.
What good is a roadmap if we do not look at it? How will we know how to get where we are going without direction? Even Google can only give you the information that is recorded in it. Please today focus on the signs in God’s word. Draw near to Him through the study of His word and through prayer. Let His voice guide you as you walk through life today. Trust me you cannot out give God, not even in making time for Him. He will meet you, guide you, bless you and protect you. Our God is an awesome God.
You are good, so good. Thank You for Your goodness. Thank You for our life, for breathing into man the breath of life. Thank You for loving us so much. Thank You for Your precious word which is alive and active, empowering us to go forth in this world and be the children of the most High God. Let everything we do and say be pleasing in Your eyes and ears. Help us to make the time every day to put You first. Let us have the desire to seek Your will first for our lives. Let us be that city on a hill shining bright for our Maker. With ever so much love we pray, in Jesus name.
