Psalm 119:145-152 NLT

I pray with all my heart; answer me, Lord!  I will obey Your decrees.  I cry out to You; rescue me, that I may obey Your laws.  I rise early, before the sun is up;  I cry out for help and put my hope in Your words.  I stay awake through the night, thinking about Your promise.  In Your faithful love, O Lord, hear my cry;  let me be revived by following Your regulations.  Lawless people are coming to attack me;  they live far from Your instructions.  But you are near, O Lord,  and all Your commands are true.  I have known from my earliest days  that Your laws will last forever.

I rise early, before the sun is up; I cry out for help and put my hope in Your words. The psalmist made time for God first thing in the morning before the sun went up. He cried out for help and put his hope in God through the power of His word.

We can honor God in the same way. Our alarms can be set for 10 minutes ahead of our regular time to wake. We have to start somewhere. Trust me, when you start making God your priority by putting Him first, everything else will just fall into place. He will work for your good. His love is unfailing and His mercy is new every morning.

Then, use the time to cry out to God for help. He will hear and provide. The thing is, you have to know what He says in His word. In other words, you have to know what you are hoping for, what  His promise is for you. I challenge you to find a promise from His word that speaks to you and claim it over your life, home, children, marriage, relationships or anything else.  Pray His word and believe His promises. Let me know in the comments what you are believing for so that I can believe with you.

Matthew 18:19 NLT I also tell you this: If two of you agree here on earth concerning anything you ask, my Father in heaven will do it for you.

Today, Lord God, maker of heaven and earth,

We glorify You. We say that You are holy! You are our God, in whom we trust. Today, we come to You, with each of us trusting You fully for different situations, people or things that we need in our lives. I want to claim Psalm 91 over myself, my family and all of my readers. Indeed, You are good Lord and Your goodness will last forever. Thank You for Your blessed word. Because we  live in Your shelter, oh God, we claim victory in Jesus over our safety (physical and emotional). We claim that no evil will come near us. We trust Your word. You have said that You will receive those who love You and protect those who trust in Your name. When we call You will answer. You will be with is in trouble and rescue and honor us. You will reward us with a long life and give us Your salvation. That is Your word. And it will not come back to You void without completing what You set it out for. (Isaiah 55:11) That is what we trust You for. Let everything happen that is in accordance with Your will for our lives. Thank You, Father, for setting Your children free. We love You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
