Psalm 46:1-11 NASB
God is our refuge and strength,
A very ready help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth shakes
And the mountains slip into the heart of the sea;

Romans 8:28 NASB And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Psalm 27:14 NASB Wait for the Lord; Be strong and let your heart take courage; Yes, wait for the Lord.
God is our refuge and our strength, our help in times of trouble. We will not fear. Fear is of the enemy. We have been given power, love and a sound mind (2Timothy 1:7). We will choose to wait patiently on the Lord and trust in Him alone. He will see us through this dark time in our country. Even when we can’t see it He is working! God will be honored by every nation. The Bible says that every knee will bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:9-11).
He is still on the throne. He is still working everything out for our good (Romans 8:28). We have to trust in Him, His will and way. We do not have to understand everything to trust Him. He holds it all. It is enough that He knows everything and we can trust Him. Right now, amidst all the chaos, we have to have faith in Him. That means we have to trust His word and do what He says in it. Be brave and courageous and wait patiently for the Lord (Psalm 27:14).
May the song and His message today bring you peace. In this world where everything is topsy-turvy, speak peace. Let’s close with one more scripture.
Luke 10:5 NASB And whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace be to this house.’
Since we can speak peace over other peoples houses (there is such power in our words), I suggest we speak peace in our own homes. Be blessed.

Father God,
You are so Holy, Righteous and True. Your name is above every name (Philippians 2:9), and we do worship You in the beauty of Your holiness (Psalm 96:9). Praise You our God and Savior. You have not left us. Your word says that You will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Thank You for being the great I AM. The One who holds all of the power. Oh, it is so good to trust in You. To feel Your Holy Spirit as we listen to Your word and praise You in song. You are here mending and touching lives, working everything out and healing our land. I believe that You are at work for Your great names sake. So the nations will see and know that You are God and there is no other. Whatever else we may have trusted in has the capability to fail…money, banks, government, laws, politicians. Any of it can fail Lord, but You will never fail. Your words will never fail. What You have spoken will happen. Your word will not come back to You void without accomplishing what You set it out to accomplish (Isaiah 55:11). You are not a man that You should lie (Numbers 23:19). Your will is going to be done on earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10). We trust You with our lives and love You with all of our hearts. May we all surrender to You today and just worship You all day. Worship You while gardening, reading, playing with kids, riding bikes, hiking or anything else we do, may we take You with us and just worship. For indeed, You are worthy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
