The Mystery Revealed

The will of God is not a mystery. It is not hidden. We just need to open our Bibles and see what God has to say. Everything we need for our life is written in these holy pages. He can speak to our hearts, minister to our spirits, fill us with joy and hope, break chains, calm the stormy seas and show us the way to walk in, plus so much more. Let’s look at some scriptures for understanding.

Now instead of grumbling and complaining, what does the word of God say?

1 Thessalonians 5:18 KJV In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Does He say here in most things, or some things to give thanks? No, the Bible is clear. God said in EVERY thing give thanks. Give thanks when we are happy, give thanks when we are sad, give thanks in trials, give thanks when…..etc etc GIVE THANKS! That is the will of God.

1 Thessalonians 4:3 NLT God’s will is for you to be holy, so stay away from all sexual sin.

Stay away from all sexual sin! Don’t think about promiscuous things, don’t lust even by looking. Guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus  (Philippians 4:7). For staying away from ALL sexual sin IS the will of God.

1 Peter 2:13-17 NLT For the Lord’s sake, submit to all human authority—whether the king as head of state, 14 or the officials he has appointed. For the king has sent them to punish those who do wrong and to honor those who do right. 15 It is God’s will that your honorable lives should silence those ignorant people who make foolish accusations against you. 16 For you are free, yet you are God’s slaves, so don’t use your freedom as an excuse to do evil. 17 Respect everyone, and love the family of believers. Fear God, and respect the king.

It is God’s will that our lives should silence  anyone who makes foolish accusations against us. Let our lives speak for themselves, rather, let our lives shine for the LORD! By submitting to those in authority over us and by living our lives in a way that is pleasing to THE King.

Pray with me please

Oh Lord, our God,

How great You are! My heart sings that song to You Lord, How Great Thou Art!

O Lord my God,

When I in awesome wonder

Consider all

The works Thy Hand hath made,

I see the stars,

I hear the mighty thunder,

Thy pow’r throughout

The universe displayed,

When through the woods

And forest glades I wander

I hear the birds

Sing sweetly in the trees,

When I look down

From lofty mountain grandeur

And hear the brook

And feel the gentle breeze,

Then sings my soul,

My Savior God, to Thee,

How great Thou art!

How great Thou art!

Then sings my soul,

My Savior God, to Thee,

How great Thou art!

How great Thou art!

When Christ shall come,

With shouts of acclamation,

And take me home,

What joy shall fill my heart!

Then I shall bow

In humble adoration

And there proclaim,

“My God, how great Thou art!”

Then sings my soul,

My Savior God, to Thee,

How great Thou art!

How great Thou art!

Then sings my soul,

My Savior God, to Thee,

How great Thou art!

How great Thou art!
