‘Trust Fall’ Walking With God

Have you ever done the ‘trust fall’ with someone? It is where you cross your arms in front of you and fall back into the arms of a person standing in behind you. You are falling, trusting that they will catch you. With that in mind, think about our walk with God.

Today I want to talk about ‘Trust Fall’ Walking. This type of walking is setting God as your Anchor and knowing in your heart, mind and soul that He is guiding you, propelling you on in life. It is a life of complete surrender to Him and His purposes for your life. It is knowing beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is with you and your steps are in accordance with His will for your life. How do we get there you may be wondering.

Faith in God.

Belief that He is with you.

Trust in His unseen hand to guide you.

Knowledge of the word of God.

We have all had a physical sore at one time or another that required a band aid and some antibacterial ointment, right? The word of God, when applied correctly, will be the healing balm to our wounded heart, mind and soul. With God’s word, we are comforted, strengthened and healed. Whatever you are facing today, claim His healing hand upon it. It could be finances, family, friendships, health, thoughts or anything else that is weighing you down. Find a word from the Lord and ‘trust fall’ walk with Him. When you first apply it, just like the ointment, you probably won’t see immediate healing (although some do and God is able), more than likely though you might get that feeling again, in an old wound that keeps aching. What you need to do is just keep applying the word of God and eventually the healing will come.

We cannot ‘trust fall’ walk while standing still. It has to be a forward motion of walking by faith (2 Corinthians 5:7). That is how we will please God, by trusting and believing Him. He is with us (Matthew 28:20). He is working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). He will never leave us or forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). He is our light (1 John 1:7). He is holding us with His mighty hand (Isaiah 41:13). We are covered by His wings (Psalm 91:4). We are sheltered in His arms (Psalm 27:5). Today, I want to encourage you to ‘trust fall’ walk with the Lord, knowing that He has you and nothing will separate you from His love. Step out in faith and ‘trust fall’ walk with Jesus.

Father of lights,

Oh, how I adore You. I pray Your favor on my life, in that I would be able to be completely ‘trust fall’ walking through my life with You. We only see that which is temporary, You see from the eternal. Today, I ask that I would ‘trust fall’ walk with You even more, in ways that I do not know or even understand, but I trust that You do, Lord. I give myself, my time, and my energies to You. Let my ‘trust fall‘ walk be in the perfect center of Your will for my life. For it is in Jesus’ name I ask. Amen.

We are instructed to bear one another’s burdens, (Galatians 6:2) so if there are any prayer requests feel free to leave them in the comment section. I would be honored to pray with you. If it is more private you can always contact me via email at luckd61@yahoo.com I check that every day. Blessings to you all, till we meet again, tomorrow, if the Lord is willing. Peace.

Praise the Lord for His faithfulness in sending you to pray such an uplifting prayer at just the right moment in time. God is good and I thank Him for you and your faithfulness to Him. May He continue to use you in such a mighty way! I have to go to work now, I might comment more later as there was just so much here to digest. Again I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. God bless you my brother in Christ.

Yes, I did get your email I replied a short reply this morning maybe about 1 hr ago I forgot to mention in the email that I would provide a more indepth reply at a later time. Because I have been busy with Ana, lately completing some house projects that we have the material for but had to put off because of the cold weather when we got the material.
