Let’s Be Real Here

Hello beautiful people. I just had to write this blog after seeing a couple of videos where demonstrators are making white people bow down and apologize to them for their “white-privilege”. How does it even make sense to apologize for how God has created us? To apologize for being white? I am sorry, but I will not apologize for how the King of the universe has created me. I am fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). I am a child of the most high King (Luke 1:32). The Lord of the universe is my Father. I will not bow or be intimidated by any other race. I will not allow the separation into my heart, home or life. There is no race except the human race. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ, for we are all children of the most high God (Romans 8:1-3). We need to start acting like it. I do not feel better than any one else. There is no difference between my skin color and that of anyone else (Galatians 3:28).  I could have just as easily been born a different color. What difference does it make what my skin color is? NONE!

The only privilege I have is to be called a child of the living God. Because now I get to live forever with God in heaven. I am not going to serve satan or go to a place so terrible named Hell. Read my blog titled Hell for more information on that place.

We are all special in the eyes of the Lord. We are created in His image! (Genesis 1:27) I, personally, have never seen any life that God has created as a matter of color. There is good and bad in all of us. Read my blog titled, ‘ Bring Peace’   for more information.   Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Lord Jesus please help us to see the truth.

African-American people, listen to me, you are beautiful. You are made in the image of God. You are the same as I am. God is our Father. Please, let’s work together to point others to Jesus. How will we fix racism? By being united and realizing we are all on the same ballfield here. We should all be working together in one accord (Philippians 2:2, 1 Corinthians 1:10 & Romans 15:5). Not for, or, in recognition of any color, rather let’s be  united by the grace of God, for the cause of Christ. The end is near (1 Peter 4:7). When we stand before the Lord, let’s be able to say that we used everything we had to promote peace.

One thing I know is I will bow before Jesus.  You will bow before Jesus. Every single being will bow one day (Philippians 2:10).  I do so now, willingly. I bow before You Jesus. I declare You are my King. You and You alone are King of kings and Lord of Lords (1 Timothy 6:15).  I declare along with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, “we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter.  If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.”

There is only One being (Jesus) to bow to in this world at any time.  So what do we do when the world is in chaos?

According to the Bible, we should think about the following:

Philippians 4:8 NLT

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

What we can do

  • Pray fervently in the Spirit (James 5:16)
  • Keep doing the right things for the right reasons. (James 4:17 & 1 John 3:7)
  • Pray always for all men (Timothy 2:1-4)

Romans 12:9-21 NKJV

9 Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil. Cling to what is good. 10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another; 11 not lagging in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; 12 rejoicing in hope, patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer; 13 distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality.

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice, and weep with those who weep. 16 Be of the same mind toward one another. Do not set your mind on high things, but associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own opinion.

17 Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but rather give place to wrath; for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord. 20 Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Together, we can stand and fight for what is right. But we can only do that by humbling ourselves and putting Jesus first, Others second and Yourself last. That is the only way to spell JOY.

Pray with me please

Father, God

You are awesome. I praise You Lord, for You are clothed in strength, majesty and power. Justice and mercy belong to You. Lord, I know we will all die someday and face judgement (Hebrews 9:27).  You will judge every man according to their works (Revelation 20:12). We have Your clear word here which tells us what we are supposed to do, say  and think about. Thank You for Your word which is our guidance (Psalm 119:105).

I pray for You to open our minds and unite us. It is not Your will for us to be separated according to race. Help us to continue to put Your word in action, which in turn will draw all men unto You. Indeed Father, may they know we are Christians by our love. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We are instructed to bear one another’s burdens, (Galatians 6:2) so if there are any prayer requests feel free to leave them in the comment section. I would be honored to pray with you. If it is more private you can always contact me via email at I check that every day. Blessings to you all, till we meet again, tomorrow, if the Lord is willing. Peace.

Let’s worship today with

  1. Donna, Preach the love of Yahweh, I also stand where I will only concern myself with the business of my father in heaven. I will only bow as well to the Father of the most high. My heart is sadden by the issue at hand as well.. But I can see that the protest cause is taking on its own life, beyond what the core reason for the protest cause was in the first place… I love individuals and their skin color is NOT an issue getting in the way of loving others…

Donna, thank you for speaking truth for God, I find your post of truth, love, and humbleness inspiring and my hopes are others of all skin colors will see the message of love behind your message.

  2. I do not understand people being asked to bow down to others. But I do understand that I have been born in “white privilege” through no fault of my own. I do agree that we can work to”… fix racism by being united and realizing we are all on the same ballfield here.” But, if I do not understand how my black brothers and sisters are being brutalized simply because their skin is a different color, and I do not understand their pain, then I cannot hope to fix racism by being united. First comes understanding and compassion. Then comes the hard work of making our voices heard in the name of social and racial equality. Social justice won’t come by ignoring or down-playing their pain. I am sure you agree! ❤

    1. I am not ignoring or downplaying their pain. I cannot begin to imagine what they are going through. The thought that someone is treated differently just because of the color of their skin sickens me.
What I am saying is that the violence has to end. I am afraid that their voice will not be heard if there continues to be such violence. It is just going to cause an all out race war, because not every one is a Christian. Not everyone is looking out for the others best interest. I am afraid that a lot of people are looking out for themselves…Hatred breeds hatred, violence breeds violence. Nothing will get accomplished with hate. Nothing but more hate.
This post was showing that I will not bow to anyone except Jesus Christ who is Lord of lords and King of kings. I am appalled at the group of people making others bow to them…..really? SO what they are saying is ‘as an answer to injustice, I want to cause more injustice, so hear me.’ That makes no sense. The time for peace is now. Enough hurt and pain has been caused. I just watched a video of a group of rioters chasing a family with a child, out of the children’s hospital, then throwing bricks at their vehicle with child inside screaming. How is this having anyone be heard? Or the ones on the highway bashing out peoples car windows. Those people must be terrified. Yes, we are all hurt over the horrible death of George Floyd.
Is it okay that David Dorn was killed by another group of rioters? He was an innocent black man just out trying to serve and protect. None of this is okay.
It is definitely not okay. ENOUGH.
I say we need to keep our eyes on the skies for our redemption draweth near.
On a final note, were you ever prejudiced toward anyone? Did you ever hurt anyone just because of their skin color? Would you ever even think it? I am sure you haven’t. Neither have I. So why the punishment upon us? Why the racial divide making us bow down to them? Does two wrongs make a right? I think not. I hope that answers any questions you have. I believe that we are to as much as possible live at peace with everyone. No one is Lord except Jesus and He is the only One to bow to. God bless us all.

      1. Oh my goodness, YES, Donna. You are right on all counts. I hope my comment did not make you think I was in any way condemning or judging what you wrote as wrong. I certainly agree with every point you made here. Let’s just love one another and pray the violence and looting will stop. It does no one any good, and certainly only adds fuel to the prejudicial fires. It does not honor the memories of any of these innocent people who have been killed. It does not begin to solve anything! Peace to you, my friend. I need to go back and read what I wrote – and be sure my previous comment was not misleading! ❤ Just love. ❤ God bless you. ❤

  3. I hear you,you are not apologizing for what happened hundred plus years ago, then the African American community should not have to apologize for the rioting and looting and we’ll all just be unapologetic.

I agree with you about the bowing; we are to bow down to no man except Christ. But, the way you postulated it was that the Blacks said to the Whites, “bow down to me” and that is not the case, no one was making the group of White congregants bow down, they did so out of their own volition. Also your comment that you don’t see color, I assume to demonstrate that you are not a racist and that you embrace diversity, is demeaning. Anyone who has the ability to see can recognize one skin color from the next. How can you fix an issue that you don’t believe you actually see? If your desire is to really help to eliminate racism then it is important to understand that the goal should be not to be color blind. We all see color, to say we don’t see color is false. God made different races and ethnicities not so that we could be color blind to them but so that we can learn to appreciate and value diversity. Let me give you analogy: people who really don’t want to deal with color tend to want to think on the side of a fruit smoothie as oppose to having the mentality of a fruit salad. With a fruit smoothie, all fruits blended in the smoothie lose their uniqueness whereas in a fruit salad all fruits are together and yet keep their uniqueness. We should see and recognize skin color but not allow it to make us reach bias conclusions about a person. For example, when a White woman sees a Black man walking towards her so she clutches her purse or walks to the other side of the street. It is okay to see color but what is not okay is to have preconceived bias about a particular group of people because of the color of their skin. If we want to reconstruct a system of power and privilege that is given to a particular race—that being Whites, important issues need to be confronted and dealt with that are deep-seated racial injustices and bias that have been ingrained in this country for 400 years.

    1. Have you apologized to the Jews for what happened to them at the Holocaust? Or to every other victim that there has been in our lives? The American Indians who were chased off of their land and killed, did you apologize to them? Our freedom comes from Christ. If that is what is required is an apology then I apologize. It was terrible what happened to George Floyd. It should have never happened. He should be with us today. I am sorry that evil exists.
Here is a video of the cop refusing to bow, yet being asked to People should just quit rioting and looting. Where, in the Bible, do you find that it is acceptable behavior? We will all stand before the Lord someday and give account of all that we have done.
It is funny, when I do not speak, I am called a racist, when I do speak, I am called a racist….when I do not say what you believe is right, I am called a racist. I think I am not the racist here. I am not out hurting anyone. I am here pointing others to Christ because the time on this earth is short. I do not promote hatred which is a lot of what I am hearing here. Every time you post something on my page that is what you have for me. I pray that you get closer to the Lord and He reveals Himself to you in a new and more personal way, because Jesus is love and life. He doesn’t want us calling names and hating each other. There is no room for hate in His kingdom. We are to be like minded and peaceful.
See Colossians 3:15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Hebrews 12:14 Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 5:15 Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always strive to do what is good for each other and for everyone else.
Psalm 29:11 The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace.
1 Peter 3:9-11 9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 10 For, “Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech. 11 They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it.
Evil cannot be cast out with more evil. Two wrongs do not make a right. The cause we should all be fighting for is the cause of Christ. That cause is all about love.
Matthew 28: 19-20 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
I hope that the word of God has encouraged you. If I can be of any further assistance, do not hesitate to reply. We are all one in Christ, so no I do not see color. I see people. Some kind, some angry, some racist, some full of hate, some full of love…we are all people. We all need a Savior and His name is Jesus.

      1. Thank you for the sharing the video, I had not seen this one. This was a Black officer not White people being asked to bow as mentioned in your post and I did not hear anyone ask him to bow. How do you know this wasn’t just his reaction to what he had witnessed?

I do not condone or promote violence and nor did I say that the rioting and looting was justifiable. If you read any of my blog post on this topic you’ll see where I have publicly stated that. I was being sarcastic because the beginning of your post sounded condescending to me. No one is asking you to apologize for the color of your skin but we are saying that your privilege gives you superiority and that in it self does not make you a racist or any other White person, but the question is are you willing to denounce your white privilege? If you are implying that I am a racist then that is a very asinine statement. Racism is about economics and power.

We all do have to stand before God and give an account for the lives we lived which will we will be judged on did we have a relationship with Him or did we reject Him; our morality and deeds won’t hold a candle to that.

Please point out to me where in my reply that I called you a racist or make any type of derogatory statement to you. I believe your defense mechanisms went up because I’m challenging what you are saying….the gall I had to hop on your blog and disagree. It’s your blog and you have the right to do as you wish, but I hope you will grow to be less intolerant of other people’s viewpoint and welcome a healthy dialogue especially on topics like these so that we can get to some root issues because ,for instances, when you say you don’t see color that is inaccurate. When we say we don’t see color we fail to see identity for what it truly is,,,,,, that woman of God is my argument here.

        Also plz watch
There is some wild things going on. The people in the first video asked for forgiveness from their black brothers and sisters. Why? What have they done? Nothing. Neither have I.
Racism defined is a belief that one race is superior to the other or the practice of treating a person or group of people differently on the basis of their race.
I will not denounce ( don’t like or condemn) my white privilege. I do not believe I have one. This is America. We are all privileged just to be here in the land of the free and the home of the brave.

2 Corinthians 5 v 10 each one will be recompensed according to their deeds.

      3. And what makes a race feel superior to another race? At the core it’s about economics and power. No, we aren’t all privileged in America and rather you want to admit it or not you have White privilege.

It’s been able to walk into a store and find the main displays of shampoo and pantyhose were created towards your hair type and skin tone. It’s turning on the television and see people of your race being widely represented. It’s been able to go through life without being stereotyped, racially profiled or being unjustly murdered by the hands of the police. Its unequal sentencing when it comes to crimes committed. Your privilege is afforded to you in education, professionally and personal contexts. There are origins of white privilege as well to date that influences systemic decisions and contribute to systemic racism.

    2. I have also watched this man, who is very enlightening in his videos. David J Harris Jr. Is his name. I suggest all people follow him.

This is not a race thing. It is a good verses evil thing. Of course I can see the color of a person’s skin, but what I am looking for is the content of their heart. Not who their skin says they are but what their actions say about them. Then I still love them whether they are good or bad. Yes even the evil ones because our Lord said we are to love our enemies. (Matthew 5:44) Remember in Christ there is no color only Spirit. (Romans 8) And we are of the same Spirit because God is our Father.
This battle is a spiritual one not a black verses white. (Ephesians 6:12) You see it as a black man was killed by a white cop. I see it as an evil man killed an innocent man in public for all to see the face of evil. What about David Dorn? He was a black man killed by the black rioters for a TV! Why isn’t that being all over the news? It was terrible! A beloved member of his community. It breaks my heart.
I hope we can agree to pray for an end to the violence. Oh for the day when Jesus comes back for His church. ♡ Until that day I pray for peace, love and equality. God bless you. Thanks for reading and for commenting.

      1. This is a spirit of racism that is running rampant in our country: the power to influence the world that enforces a particular race that gives them power and influence. Racism is a spirit and I agree that ultimately Satan is behind it as Believers we must engage in spiritual warfare, but also move into action. I would like to see more of the White evangelicals joining in the protests especially those who protests and march against abortion which is more of a politically issue than it is the church.

Yes, when Jesus comes back for His church He is not coming back for a black church or a white church, but for ONE church. But for you not see that George Floyd was not just a man He was a Black man is to deny who he was and that yet “another Black man was unjustly murdered by White police. Being Black is part of who he was just like being White is who you are.

It’s weird that you aren’t seeing the coverage of David Dorn because I can’t turn to a news station without hearing about the tragic story. Yes, we continue to pray!

Thank you for welcoming my comment.

      2. Sin is sin in God’s eyes and we are all guilty of it. So much so that God sent His Son to die for the sins of mankind. He didn’t do it for His children to argue an bicker. There are souls going to hell right now that we have to focus our time and energy in trying to reach before it is too late. See my post titled Hell That is where we should be vesting our energies. To save the lost. Kim, are you saved? Have you asked Jesus to come into your heart and save you from your sins? Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God? If the answer is yes then you are a sister of mine and there shouldn’t be such arguing, I believe there is an argumentative spirit as well that it would be wise not to invite to all of your conversations. Do you really hear what I am saying? Or are you only looking for a chance to argue?
I noticed you were talking about race on my blog titled Abortion is Not the Answer which was written out of love to help women who were considering it, to point them to what the Bible says. There are so many support groups for women who have had abortions, why do you think that is? How can you say it is not a matter for the church? Were you aware that there are more black babies killed by abortion in NYC than were born there? Read this article to have all the stats
That should be very concerning to all of us. What a terrible thing. All of these lives lost before they even have a voice. Did you know that the aborted baby feels pain?
Like I said, I wrote that post to help women. To give them the truth about what the Bible says. To those who know to do good and don’t do it, it is sin. (James 4:17)
Discussion is good. But sometimes it goes nowhere. You have your opinions and I have mine. Shall we just agree to disagree? You are always free to unfollow my posts as well. God bless and draw you ever so near to His side.

      3. Yes, God is concerned about souls but He is also concerned about injustices, the Bible teaches that too. Yes, I have a relationship with Christ. I do feel that you are implying that I do not know God especially with your last statement at the end of your reply. So, I’m not saved because I don’t agree with you? I do remember your post about abortion and I asked you how did you feel about Black Lives Matter and you did not respond. My standpoint was, where are those same voices such as when a person of color is unjustly murdered at the hands of the police or a person making a “citizens arrest.” You have a right to your position on abortion as I had a right to express my viewpoints because you put it out on a public platform. What I was stating was that women whether you agree or not have the right to have an abortion and there are also extenuating circumstances such as incest or rape that in my opinion you would view differently if it happened to you. On the other side of this similar issue racist cops and so called neighborhood watch dogs do not have the right to murder unjustly. However, I will take this as you are asking me to keep my opinions to myself and on that note I will do that just that. You can unfollow me if you like. To me, its petty to unfollow someone just because we disagree or I don’t like what they said unless it was threatening or derogatory.

        God bless you too!

  4. “A spirit of racism is running rampant”…. No, a spirit of division is running rampant.
There are those that like ‘Hitler’ that believe they are superior to ALL others. Be they red, yellow, black, brown or poor white. They have an agenda to rid or reduce this lower class of people into a manageable number like ‘Hitler’ tried to do with the Jews. As they can’t use gas chambers, they use HATE, ENVY, DRUGS, and best of all PRIDE. As Solomon said in Proverbs 16:18-19 Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be of a humble spirit with the lowly, then to divide the spoil with the proud.
