Dinosaur

Dinosaur definition: a person or thing that is outdated or has become obsolete because of failure to adapt to changing circumstances.

Some synonyms are: conservative, traditionalist, diehard and stick-in-the-mud.

We need to ban together and not be the dinosaur that has come to extinction. We have a voice and it is time that we stand and use it. No more catering to the mob, the violence and the social dissent. We are children of the most high God, heirs according to the promise, Abrahams children and we are blessed by the Lord.  We cannot fall prey to mob mentality. We cannot succumb to fear or irrationality any longer. The time for believers to unite is now.

I cannot agree with the destruction of our statues, towns and families. I cannot sit back and say nothing. NOW is the time to stop the violence and hatred. Believers, we need to pray like never before. We do not need to be anyone special to pray. Our identity, power and strength is in Christ. (Philippians 4:13) Through Him we are special! We only need to believe in the awesome and immeasurable power of our Father. (Mark 9:23) He is holy! He is mighty! There is nothing that our God cannot do. He made water come from a rock (Exodus 17:6), He kept the Israelite army winning as long as  Moses’ arms were kept up (Exodus 17:11-12), He parted the Red Sea (Exodus 14:21), He shut the mouths of lions for Daniel (Daniel 6), He kept Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego safe from the fire (Daniel 3), He created the heavens and earth (Genesis 1:1) and He breathed life into man (Genesis 2:7). He is the author and sustainer of life (Colossians 1:17). He is omnipotent (Matthew 19:26) and omnipresent (Proverbs 15:3). He hears us when we cry. Cry out to Him with me.

Dearest and most holy God of all creation,

You are the God who sees me. (Genesis 16:13) You hear me when I cry. (Psalm 18:6)  I know that I can count on You at all times. I especially come to You today in behalf of our world. Father, there is chaos, hatred and innocent bloodshed everywhere. I know this breaks Your heart. Father, I beg You for an end to the violence and hypocrisy. 

I want to especially plead Your mercy over the looters. They need You Father. They need to see Your love. I pray that there would not be any more looting or destruction. I ask You, that those who would even be trying to destroy or illegally take things, would be supernaturally convicted in their heart. I pray that they would see Your power and protection on those they were trying to harm. Please open their eyes in the heavenly realm, Father. You had a donkey talk to its owner before. (Numbers 22:21-41) There is nothing You cannot do.

Our world is in shambles. It seems to be a majority of people trying to make their voices heard. Show them that their voices cannot be heard this violent way. Let them see that they are only adding insult to injury. I pray that their hearts would be softened and they would realize that they would not want their mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles or any other family members treated this way. So compassion would come to them.

Father, I beg You for a great revival to come from all of this. Breathe on this earth, Lord. I know You are in charge of legions of angels and they are at Your command. Let Your power go forth to stop the satanic forces at work behind the scenes. What the enemy has meant for evil, please turn it to good.

Oh, Lord, touch hearts, open eyes and draw them in to experience Your loving kindness.  I pray that Your love would flow in and through Your children, exposing the lies of the enemy. Let the river of Your love flow over and over again. May all hatred be overcome with love. Let us love our enemies with the love of Jesus Christ. Father, they are just sinners, like I was before Your grace found me. I love You Father.  I ask for a mighty movement of Yours, in accordance with Your will, to be done in lives  of all people across the world, such as has not been since the beginning of time. I am asking for a great shaking. Thank You for Your immeasurable love and power. Thank You, that even now, there is peace going forth, and Your love is driving out hate. You are faithful and worthy of all praise. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
