Colossians 3:16 KJV   Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Revelation 5:9-10 NIV   And they sang a new song, saying: “You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation. 10 You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”

There are so many scriptures in the Bible pertaining to singing. Sing with grace to the Lord. Sing of His mercies. Sing because He is worthy. Sing no matter what trial or tribulation you may happen to be going through. We do not wait until we feel like it to praise God with singing. We praise Him because He is worthy. We praise Him because if we didn’t the rocks would cry out (Luke 19:40). Because He is that amazing! He is more wonderful and awesome than we could ever imagine. There are not enough words to sing of the magnitude of His goodness. He is love (1 John 4:7). He is mercy (Luke 6:36). He is righteous (Psalm 11:7). He is truth (John 14:6). He is wisdom (Proverbs 2:6). He is our Lord God, Jehovah-Jireh and He is our everything. He is the God who sees me (Genesis 16:13).

Heavenly Father,

You are good. We praise and exalt You for You and You alone are worthy of our praise. There is none like You in all the earth. It is our desire to be pleasing to You in our worship. Please accept our sincere worship today Father, as we magnify Your holy name. We lay aside anything that is not of, or from, You and declare that we will worship You and You alone. You are God and we shout Your praise! Hallelujah! Our God reigns! In Jesus’ name! Amen.

2 Chronicles 20:21-22 NIV    After consulting the people, Jehoshaphat appointed men to sing to the Lord and to praise him for the splendor of his holiness as they went out at the head of the army, saying: “Give thanks to the Lord,  for his love endures forever.” 22 As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated.

We worship and He drives away the enemy!

Let’s worship today with
