Handprints of God

Ever think of God’s hands being on us? The Bible says we are made in His image (1 Corinthians 11:7). Also we read that we are God’s handiwork created in Christ Jesus to do good works (Ephesians 2:10). We can have courage because God’s hands are upon us (Ezra 7:28). We know that He guides us in all truth (John 14:26). 

Isaiah 64:8 NASB  But now, O Lord, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter;  And all of us are the work of Your hand.   

Isaiah 41:10 NKJV  “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”

Father,  

Oh, how I love You. Thank You for Your word and for our understanding. How amazingly wonderful to see how Your hands are upon us, to guide us. Lord, You mold us. The hands of the Almighty God of the universe are on Your children. It is just an amazing thought. Your handprints of love are all over us. You are so awesome! What a mighty God we serve, indeed!  

I pray for Your hands to be in my thoughts, all over my opinions and attitudes, on the desires of my heart and my words, deeds and actions. I want every part of me to have Your handprints on it, whether I am saying something, doing something or even wearing something. I want all of my life to have Your hands all over me. Lord, let Your will be done in my life as I submit to Your way and authority. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
