Be Wise

Parable of Ten Virgins

25 “Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep. But at midnight there was a shout, ‘Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.’ Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the prudent answered, ‘No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.’ 10 And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11 Later the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, lord, open up for us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Truly I say to you, I do not know you.’ 13 Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour.

What have I been doing lately?

Getting ready for the Lord’s return is the answer. I have been cleaning, not just my spiritual house (body, mind and soul) with the cleansing of His word, but I have also been readying my literal house. We have cleaned and organized the inside of our home, the garage, and also painted the basement floor, thereby getting half of the basement finished.

In spiritual preparedness for others, I felt led to print out a copy of the following blog and am going to give a copy to 12 of the ladies in our women’s prayer group so they can put them in their Bibles for anyone who may come inside our houses, for refuge, after the Rapture. The blog’s message is, NOT to take the mark of the beast.

I am also going to have the following blog printed out as well, so that people can know how to be saved.

I even have stored a few extra 24 packs of water. I figure if we go in the Rapture before the Tribulation, then the Lord can just use it to bless someone else who has to live through the perilous times.

I am excited to go to Heaven. How about you, dear brother or sister, what are you doing to get ready? Jesus is coming. His arrival is one day sooner than it was yesterday. We will be going home!

Oh my wonderful Lord and heavenly Father,

To the One who is above all, I want to tell You how much I love You. Help me and everyone reading, who love You with all of their hearts to be ready. Your word says in Matthew 24:36 “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Although we don’t know the hour, You have instructed us to always to be in a state of readiness. Speak to our hearts Lord, so that we can be thinking, doing and saying exactly what You want us to be thinking, doing or saying. Help us to be prepared. We love You, Lord, and are praying in one accord. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We are instructed to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), so if there are any prayer requests feel free to leave them in the comment section. I would be honored to pray with you. If it is more private you can always contact me via email at luckd61@yahoo.com I check that every day. Blessings to you all, till we meet again, tomorrow, if the Lord is willing. Peace.

  1. Yes, {{{Donna}}}, “His arrival is one day sooner than it was yesterday. We will be going home!” And I’m going to ask St. Peter to be sure and introduce us when we get there! Have a lovely Monday 👍🏽❤️

  2. He will arrive soon indeed. I have started a bible challenge for myself to read a book of the bible a week. This week is proverbs. Which is my favorite part of the bible other than the 4 books where Jesus is on the earth talking and teaching.

    1. That’s wonderful! I love Proverbs. There is a lot of wisdom in the pages of scripture. I just gave this scripture from Proverbs 3:6 to a family member
In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight.
Beautiful words of encouragement. Thanks for commenting! Have a great day Mor! ❤ Hugs! 🙂
