Warning

1 John 4 NKJV Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God, and every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard was coming, and is now already in the world.

Matthew 16:15-17 NKJV He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.

Luke 12:15 NASB Then He said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one has an abundance does his life consist of his possessions.

Oh Lord, most holy God, my heavenly Father,

Thank You for another day and with it another opportunity to sing Your praises. I declare You are good. Thank You for life, love and the freedom that comes with serving You. I want to thank You again today for Your word. You always give me just the right word to help me along in my walk with You. Today You are giving us wisdom in knowing that every person (spirit) that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God. Help us to ask people. We need to know who we are listening to and what they believe. Your word gives us clear instruction. Your word says that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the living God. You also teach us that we are to be on your guard against every form of greed because life doesn’t consist in possessions. These are facts which are found in Your word. A person only needs to read Your word to find guidance, hope and direction. You have the words of life. Where else could we go?! Indeed there is nowhere I would rather be, than at Your feet. I love You Father. Thank You for everything. May I bring You honor this day with everything I do, for I ask in Jesus’ name. Amen.
