A Call To Prayer

Philippians 4:6 NKJV Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God

Pray, children of God, pray (1 Thessalonians 5:17). Talk to our Father. Let Him know your needs and concerns. He is listening. The time to draw nigh to Him so that He will draw nigh to you is now (James 4:8). Fill your vessel with the oil of His word. Come to Him all who are worn and weary. Do not turn away from our God. Where would you go? Tell me to whom should you turn to? Our God holds the answers to every question (John 6:68). He is peace and supplies us with every need we may have (2 Thessalonians 3:16 & Philippians 4:19).

Oh great heavenly Father,

I pray that even now eyes would be opened to the truth of Your love. Permeate the darkness. Arise, oh God, in Your children. Let Your power spring forth to touch the nation through us. Embolden the ones who love You, with power from on high to accomplish Your will for our lives. Help us to run the race You have mapped out for us (Hebrews 12:1). May we run and not grow weary. May we walk and not faint (Isaiah 40:31). May we be Your ambassadors in all we think, say or do. Shine through us dearest Father. Help us keep our eyes fixed on You (Hebrews 12:2). In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
