1 Corinthians 14:33 KJV For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
God is the author of peace. He alone can grant peace (John 14:27). With His peace comes the completeness we need (Colossians 2:10). We are strongest when we realize our need for Him (2 Corinthians 12:10). God becomes our strength. His word says in 2 Corinthians 12:9, Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.
God’s grace is His unmerited favor. There is nothing we have to do to earn His grace. Indeed, we cannot earn it (Ephesians 2:9). That was His gift to mankind (John 3:16). Anyone who believes and is baptized shall be saved (Mark 16:16). Romans 10:10 says, ‘For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.’ That, my friends, (knowing Jesus) is the beginning of true unadulterated peace. The peace of God that passes all understanding.
Philippians 4:7 Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.
If you want true peace, come to the Author and Prince of peace. His name is Jesus (Isaiah 9:6). If you want more information about Jesus and how to be saved read my blog titled, You Never Let Us Go.
Please also realize there is power in our words. You know words can be used to strengthen someone or even tear them down (Proverbs 18:21). Scientists have even proven we can make ourselves physically sick with our words. Google it to see all the different studies. God knows how important words are that is why He said to SPEAK peace to a house. He even used words to speak all creation into existence (Genesis 1). Knowledge is power my friends. Start speaking, believing and receiving His peace today, which comes as you trust in His words. That is another reason it is imperative to read His word (Joshua 1:8 & Matthew 4:4). Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free (John 8:32).
Luke 10:5 NLT Whenever you enter someone’s home, first say, ‘May God’s peace be on this house.’
Oh Lord my God,
I praise You always for Your goodness. Thank You for Your many gifts, especially the gift of salvation. To know that I know that I know that Jesus is my Savior is priceless. I agree with Paul in Romans 8:38-39 And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. 39 No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Thank You, thank You, thank You. I am secure in You. Praise Your holy name forever. In Jesus name we pray having access to the Father through Him (John 14:6). Amen.
