Romans 5:1-11 NLT
Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. 2 Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.
3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because He has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with His love.
6 When we were utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. 7 Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. 8 But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. 9 And since we have been made right in God’s sight by the blood of Christ, He will certainly save us from God’s condemnation. 10 For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son while we were still His enemies, we will certainly be saved through the life of his Son. 11 So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our Lord Jesus Christ has made us friends of God.

Father God, Lord of all creation,
I just want to thank You for all that we have in You. It is because of You and Your greatest gift that You gave on the cross that we are redeemed, sanctified, and set apart. We have peace and the privilege of being Your children. Your word even says we are Your friends! We should be rejoicing 24-7. Help us, Father, to always have an attitude of gratitude for what You have done. There is nothing we have to do, just accept what You have freely given. We only have to believe (Acts 16:31). What a great day when we accept You into our hearts. King of my heart, mind and life. I give You all of me. Please have Your way in my life. I so want to hear You say, “Well done good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:23). I want to run to Your arms with nothing holding me back. No guilt or shame to separate us. I want to be holy for You are holy (1 Peter 1:16). Help me because I believe Your word which says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13). You are the God of the impossible! Nothing is impossible for You (Luke 18:27). You are holy, righteous and true (Psalm 145:17 & John 14:6). You are awesome and amazing. I love You and I willingly lay my life down daily for Your will to be done. I pray asking all things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
If you do not know Jesus but would like to know more about Him, please read the following blog titled, Never let Us Go. God bless. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/you-never-let-us-go/
