How are we to fight the enemy? With the word of God and by prayer. This is a spiritual battle. We are fighting against powers and principalities.
Ephesians 6:10-18 NASB
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. 14 Stand firm therefore, having girded your loins with truth, and having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 in addition to all, taking up the shield of faith with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints
Again, God’s word is how we fight our battles. What does His word say? For more information on the armor of God please read my blog titled, The Struggle Is Real

It is most important that we immerse ourselves in the word of God and in His presence. On our own, we’d be in trouble, but thanks be to God that we are not on our own. Greater is He who is in me, than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13) These are truths from the word of God. What truths are you claiming today?
Deuteronomy 20:4 NASB for the LORD your God is the One who goes with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

Dearest and most holy heavenly Father,
You are worthy of all praise. Thank You for the power that You give us to fight these earthly battles. It is not us, but You in us, our hope of glory (Colossians 1:27). All we need to do is; go where You lead us, trust in You and say that which You give us to say. There is nothing we can do on or through our own power. It is through You that we can do all things. Thank You for Your amazing love and wonder working power. May we all stand tall, singing Your praises and watching You move on our behalf. We ask that Your will be done in our lives and on this earth. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.
