Last Days

Jude 1:17-23 NASB But you, beloved, ought to remember the words that were spoken beforehand by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ,  that they were saying to you, “In the last time there will be mockers, following after their own ungodly lusts.”  These are the ones who cause divisions, worldly-minded, devoid of the Spirit.  But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit,  keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life.  And have mercy on some, who are doubting;  save others, snatching them out of the fire; and on some have mercy with fear, hating even the garment polluted by the flesh.

Father God,

You are holy. You are infinitely wise. You know everything so nothing surprises You. I pray that our thoughts would align with Your thoughts and our will with Your will. We need You like never before. Build us up Lord. Teach us to pray in the Spirit. Help us stay in Your love by loving all people, even our enemies. We do wait anxiously for Your return. It is so exciting to know that someday soon we will be going home. No man knows the exact hour or day but we do know it is sooner than it was yesterday and we long for that day (Matthew 24:36). Help us to show mercy, for You have shown us the greatest mercy (Micah 6:8). Let us hate the sin and love the sinner, showing nothing but Christlike love to all (Psalm 97:10 & Romans 12:9). Fill our mouths with the words that You would have us to speak (Psalm 81:10). May we always shine forth Your great love in this dark world. We won’t lose hope (Philippians 2:15). We know You are coming soon (Revelation 22:12.) We love You. Thank You for everything. We pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
