There has to be a reset in the American church. We need to adjust our way of thinking, so that it aligns with the word of God. We have been walking with one foot in the world and one hand with God for far too long. There has to be a change. It is time to reset our priorities, values and mannerisms. Listen, it is no longer time to think, ‘my way or the highway’, rather we should be thinking ‘God’s way or the highway to hell.’ Tell me, is that really a highway that you want to walk in?
Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
It is time for blinded eyes to open. We have been deluded and tricked by the enemy long enough. It is time the church stand up and say, “No more!” We will be silent no more! We will turn a blind eye no more! We have to be on the straight and narrow path. We cannot condone, excuse or promote sin any longer. God help us, forgive us and set our feet on the right path.
Dearest and most holy, heavenly Father,
We adore You. Thank You for bringing this dire warning to Your church. It is time to wake up. Lord, help us. Break our hearts for what breaks Yours. Set our hearts on fire for You. Help us to seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness above all else. Let us go about our days with Your holy fire burning in us. May we be a voice for the voiceless and bring hope to the hopeless. Draw us away from complacency. Help us to hear from You, to know what Your will is and to accomplish Your purpose for our lives. We trust You to come in and empower us for Your kingdom work. Thank You for using us. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
God doesn’t want us being all mamby-pamby (weak or indecisive) anymore. Both feet and both arms need to be following Him through the narrow path. He gave us His Holy Spirit to be His ambassadors. We are to speak the truth in love, proclaim the gospel, rescue the lost, heal the sick and deliver those who are bound. Stand up soldier. The battle lines have been drawn. There is work to be done and you fit in. No labor for the Master is ever in vain.
