Always Be Ready

Luke 18:6-8 Then the Lord said, “Hear what the unjust judge said. And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him, though He bears long with them? I tell you that He will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?”

God will judge. He will avenge. We are to have faith, be patient, and continue in love. We need to trust Him to work all things to our good. We can have peace. Just breathe. Relax in His loving embrace. He has us.

The last statement is one I was thinking about. Nevertheless, when the Son of Man comes, will He really find faith on the earth?” Sin is abounding so much and the love of many is getting cold. These are facts. Will Jesus find any who have faith when He returns? The belief in Him, in His second coming, in the whole of His word….Listen, believers we need to persevere in prayer and in works. He will be coming to judge every man according to what he or she has done (Revelation 22:12). We need to be ready.

Father, Father, Father,

Help us. We have faith. Help our unbelief. If there are any doubts, Lord, erase them. Now is the time to get ready. We cannot wait to see You. It is such a cool longing. May we be patiently waiting for our wonderful Creator and Savior. We love You so much. Help us all to walk in a manner worthy of our calling. May we all have faith, patience and trust. Above all, may we be pleasing in Your sight, so that we hear You say, “Well done, thou good and faithful one.” You are so awesome, holy and worthy of our praise. It is an exciting honor to wait for You. Come quickly, Lord Jesus, it is in Your name we pray. Amen.
