1 Corinthians 10:13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.
Yes and Amen by Chris Tomlin
2 Corinthians 1:20 NKJV For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
Find and claim His promises, oh child of the most high God, and in doing so you will find His heart. He will give you direction for your life. You are safe in the Father’s arms. We are almost home.
Almost Home by MercyMe
Pray with me please,
Oh most holy, heavenly Father,
We praise and thank You for all that You have done in our lives. You are continually moving in and through us. Thank You for granting to us the privilege of being called Your children (Luke 6:35). Thank You for being faithful (Deuteronomy 7:9). All of Your attributes are amazing. Today, we just want to thank You for Your faithfulness. You are always there for us. We know that we can depend on You all the time, no matter what the situation is.
You love us with such a great love. Our lives are but a vapor (James 4:14), but they can be used mightily through Your power living in us (Philippians 4:13). Help us to accomplish Your will for our lives. May we always stay kingdom-minded. Help us to remain faithful to Your calling on our lives. Please open the doors that need to be opened and close those that need to be shut (Isaiah 22:22). Lord, we ask that as You open the right doors for us, that You would grant us the discernment to know that we need to walk through it. Help us to not let any Kingdom-moment pass us by. Let us be like the watchers on the wall, always ready to go, do or say that which You want us to. Let our ears and eyes be attentive to what the Holy Spirit lays on us to accomplish.
We confess that we have ‘missed the mark’ sometimes in hearing from You. Please forgive us. Teach us to quiet ourselves and grant us wisdom (James 1:5). We ask for Your protection on our lives, homes, marriages, family, health and finances. Please keep revealing any known sin to us, that is preventing us from having a closer relationship with You. We lay all sin at Your feet, repenting of it. Lord, we ask that You would continue to draw us closer to Your side. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
