New

Isaiah 43:19 NASB

Behold, I will do something new, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.

Ezekiel 36:26

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

Dearest heavenly Father,

We thank and praise You for the new work that You have done in us, on the blessed day of salvation. Thank You for the new heart that You have given us, which has changed us from sinful to holy, from evil to good, from carnal to spiritual. We now have the ability to adhere to Your commands through Your grace and power living in us. Only You can remove the stony heart full of the ugliness of sin. Of course, we still have the capability to sin, but our new heart and spirit convicts us and helps us to stay repentant. We are so thankful for Your great grace, that wonderful and unmerited favor of Yours on mankind. Help us to continue to walk in a way which is pleasing in Your sight. We confess and repent of any known or unknown sins. Please let Your cleansing power pour over us. Restore us and we shall be whiter than snow. (Psalm 51:7) Draw us in, so near, to Your precious side. We ask for Your protection and help in overcoming any sin and satan’s attacks on us. Your word says in Malachi 3:11 that You will rebuke the devourer for our sakes. We trust in You and ask for Your protection on our lives, homes, finances, families, employment, blogs and relationships. We pray that You will be glorified through us, as we live our lives fully committed to You. Thanks for everything that You have done, are doing and will do for Your children. We are safe in Your arms. We pray asking all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
