Perfect

James 1:25 NLT But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you heard, then God will bless you for doing it.

Matthew 5:48 NASB Therefore you shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.

2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Dearest and most holy, heavenly Father,

We thank and praise You for Your goodness to all mankind. You have given us Your great love. Thank You for The love You have shown on the cross (John 3:16). Thank You for the mercy that You show Your children day in and day out. Thank You that You walk and talk with us (Psalm 23:1-6 & 2 Timothy 3:16). We so love You and appreciate Your guidance. Thank You for Your provision. Lord, we do not want to take a single thing for granted. We praise and thank You for our lives and everything and everyone in them. Our lives are so precious to You (Matthew 6:25-34). Help us to do all that You have for us to do. Draw us closer to You side so that we will know the Way, the Truth and the Life (Jesus) so much better. We confess and repent of any and all that separates us from You in any way, shape or form. We lay our hearts and minds in Your care. We are safe in Your presence. Fill us with Your Spirit (Ephesians 5:18). Lord, help us to be more than overcomers through Christ who strengthens us (Romans 8:37). We, in our weaknesses, can be perfect because of the power of Christ, which dwells in us. The thing is to recognize our weakness and humble ourselves before Your mighty throne. It is all about our heart (1 Samuel 16:7). Today, we come humbly, admitting our weaknesses. We bow before You and cry holy, all-powerful Father, have mercy, on us, Your children. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

  1. Good morning, {{{Donna}}} . Happy (day before) Thanksgiving to you! I hope you have the opportunity to share the holiday with at least one other loved one. It’s a day to praise God for His blessings and to share the. I pray with you this morning, “Thank You that You walk and talk with us” O Lord. I hear your voice, God, in the whistle of the wind outside my window and in the warm, quiet stillness of my sanctuary. Thank You for my many blessings – especially my friend, Donna, and her faithfulness. 🙏🏽 Amen
