Acts 2:46 NKJV So continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they ate their food with gladness and simplicity of heart
1 Corinthians 1:10 NKJV Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1 John 1:3 NLT We proclaim to you what we ourselves have actually seen and heard so that you may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.

Being united, what is the significance? What did Jesus say in His prayer?
John 17:20-23
“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me. The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me”
Our unity, as believers, shows the world the deity of Christ.
Ephesians 4:3 NLT Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace.

Dearest heavenly Father,
We praise and thank You for Your goodness towards mankind. Lord, we come humbly before You asking that Your great power would help us to be united with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Help us to be loving, supportive, humble, gentle and patient with each other (Ephesians 4:1-3). Help us to hold fast to Your word (1 Corinthians 15:2). Help us to not quarrel over opinions (Romans 14:1). May we remember what Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:3 ‘I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said.’ Help us to get things right in Your sight and by Your great power living in us. We love You. May we never hinder others from coming to You, because of our fighting, but rather may they know we are Christians by our love. In Jesus name we pray.

Amen and Amen!
