Read, study, meditate, speak and write down the word of God. Let His word soak into your heart, mind and soul. The bible is God’s instruction for daily living. God will strengthen and empower you with His glorious word. Everything He has spoken He will do. God is not a man that He would lie (Numbers 23:19). He hears our cries and He answers our prayers (Psalm 34:17 & 1 John 5:14-15).
Hebrews 4:12 NKJV
For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
2 Timothy 4:2 NKJV
Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching.
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
Psalm 1:2 NASB
But his delight is in the Law of the Lord, and on His Law he meditates day and night.
Trust Him. Believe on His word. Seek and you shall find, knock and the door will be opened (Matthew 7:7). There is so much we have to learn, which can only happen with a daily devotional time with our Lord. We make time for everything else. Certainly we can make time to spend with the One who loves us the most.
Father God, Lord of all creation,
We come before You today praising You and giving You honor for You are worthy of all praise. It is our joy to shout Your praise. You are awesome Lord. We won’t forget all that You have done in our lives. We all have our own story of the great things You have done. The times You have carried us through and shown Your power. We praise and exalt You. Thank You for our very lives and that we are free to worship You. We pray that You would continue to draw us closer to Your side in all aspects of our lives. Help us to learn that You are always with us and we do not have to ever feel alone. Thank You for Your peace, power and protection in our lives. We confess and repent for any sin in our lives. We pray that You would continue to protect, correct and strengthen us according to the power that You alone hold and we surrender to. Help us to be more than overcomers through Christ (Romans 8:37), defeating satan by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). You are all-powerful, there is nothing You cannot do. Great and mighty are You! Thank You for everything! In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
