Proverbs 3:5-8 NASB Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. 6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight. 7 Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
8 It will be healing to your body and refreshment to your bones.
Deuteronomy 31:8 NASB And the Lord is the one who is going ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not desert you or abandon you. Do not fear and do not be dismayed.
I would like to talk today about a time in my life when I was a single mom. I had three children. I remember not having a lot of money. I was doing my best to take care of all the children by myself, without child support. We were poor. I had a 12th grade education and no family that was able to help us. I was alone trying to raise my kids.
I want to tell you about how God blessed me when I dedicated myself to Him. I remember praying one time for God to help me and the children. He helped me so much. He just kept blessing me. I had a lady from church bring me a fruit basket. I had another lady bring me fifty dollars and told me to get something for myself. My landlady’s mother brought me a Christmas present. She was such a sweet elderly lady. She told me that she knew the kids would have plenty because I always took care of them, but she said, This is for you. I had another lady bring us a living room couch because I was sleeping on the floor. I mean the Lord literally knocked my socks off with all of the compassion shown from His children. These instances all happened within a brief period of time, I believe within two weeks. Crying, I prayed for God to stop blessing me that way. I told Him I just couldn’t take any more at that time. I thanked Him over and over for His great love.
I wanted to write this to let you know that whatever you may be going through, that God is with You. He is for you. He will never leave you. If you pray, believing, He will help you too. He cares about us all (Mark 11:24 & 1 Peter 5:7). He cares about every single detail. Our God knows the amount of hairs on our heads (Luke 12:7). He sees our tears (Psalm 56:8). One day He will wipe away our tears (Revelation 7:17).
Pray with me please
Father God,
Thank You for Your great love. I will never forget how You were there for me when I was all alone. Thank You, that when we trust You as our Lord and Savior, You provide for Your children. We are not alone anymore when we trust You, Jesus. I thank you for the great joy You gave me. Thank You for coming alive in my heart, mind and soul. You have proved Yourself to me time after time. I just felt it was important to share part of my testimony. May I always show others how You have worked and are working in my life. Thank You for Your faithfulness. You have taken me from glory to glory. I know that, holding Your hand, I am safe in every aspect of my life. Thank You that I do not have to worry or fear for You are with me. Help those who feel alone, to know You as their God who never leaves them or forsakes them (Hebrews 13:5). Help them to know they are loved, valued and treasured by You, our loving heavenly Father. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

Thank you for sharing your story, {{{Donna}}}. It touched my soul. I know, as you do that “God is with You. He is for you. He will never leave you.” You know from personal experience. God bless you! And I know from personal experience that “If you pray, believing, He will help you… He cares about us all.” What a blessing it is to know our God on a personal level – to walk and talk with Him, and to experience His unconditional love! β€

You are most welcome. I think it is very important to be vulnerable in order to reach others who may be experiencing the same things. To reach out and grab them from the fire. I am forever grateful to our Lord for His great mercy. Our God is so good. Praise His holy name forever.
Have a good evening. β‘
