Romans 8:18 NKJV For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
We may have to suffer in this life, but they cannot compare to the joy and happiness that awaits us in heaven. Right now we have enemies, pains, pressures and problems, but they cannot compare to what God has in store for us in our eternal beings. We are blessed to suffer for righteousness! Every one of us must die someday. Whether we are saved or not one day we will die. What happens when we open our eyes to eternity? The choice is yours. Will you be facing eternity with Jesus in Heaven or will you be eternally separated from Him in hell? Make no doubt about it, eternity is never ending. Where will you spend yours? If you need information on how to be saved, please read my blog titled, You Never Let Us Go. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/you-never-let-us-go/
For the believer, rejoice! Heaven is victory over death. God will wipe away ALL tears (Revelation 7:17)! We will be with Jesus! There will be no more pain and no more evil (Revelation 21:4-8). There will be no curse (Revelation 22:3). We will see our loved ones and be known as we are known now (1 Corinthians 13:12). What joy awaits us believers! So let’s keep our eyes on Jesus and not on any problems, pestilences or persecutions that arise (Hebrews 3:1). Pray about these things, yes. But keep your focus on the things of heaven. Stay Kingdom-minded. For this world will pass away, but the inerrant truths of God will never pass away (2 Timothy 3:16, Matthew 24:35 & 2 Peter 3:10).
Pray with me please,
Father God,
We are so excited! The closer we get to heaven and spending eternity with You makes us so joyful. We cannot wait to see Jesus. To fully know and see You as a man sees another man. What joy awaits those who will be spending eternity with You! Help us to keep our perspective on Your Kingdom, what is Your will and what is Your way. May we never do things out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but rather our lives be wholly submitted to Your plans for our lives (Philippians 2:3-4). May we live in such a way that in the end we hear You say, “Well done,” for that is our hearts cry. Thank You Lord for everything that You do. We give You all the praise asking everything in Your name Jesus. Amen.
I don’t think we could ever take being in the actual presence of God for granted, but can you imagine how we might feel when we first see HIm! 🙌🙌
