Another In The Fire

Ecclesiastes 4:12 NASB And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.

This verse tells me that whatever relationship we have, whether it is with our, spouse, child, friend or coworker, that relationship is best when we have the Lord in it. Stand tall no matter what you are facing, knowing that with God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). You can do all things through Christ who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13). We are more than conquerors through Him who loves us (Romans 8:37).

Father God,

How awesome, loving and amazing You are. We bow at Your feet and cry holy. You are so worthy of all praise. Thank You for being with us. You have said that You wouldn’t leave us alone, but would send the Comforter (John 14:18). We are so thankful for Your Spirit’s presence in our lives. Thank You for letting us know that where two or more are gathered in Your name that You are there in their presence (Matthew 18:19-20). Father, You are just so good. We couldn’t thank or praise You enough for all that You are and everything that You have done. Please accept this heartfelt worship as evidence of our extreme love for You. Help us to remember that no matter what we face, You are with us. You will strengthen us. We are not alone. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
