Joshua 6:15-16 NASB Then on the seventh day they got up early at the dawning of the day and marched around the city in the same way seven times; only on that day did they march around the city seven times. 16 And at the seventh time, when the priests blew the trumpets, Joshua said to the people, “Shout! For the Lord has given you the city.“
This took a lot of faith on the people of God to believe that what He said He would do, He would do. These people had to march around the city once a day for six days. Then they had to trust God and believe that He would take care of them as they followed His guidance. The walls did not come down until on the seventh day and on the seventh time around! God requires us to have faith (Hebrews 11:6). The battle is His, not ours (2 Chronicles 20:15).Then Joshua told them to shout! What importance do you think that had to them? to us? Believe, remain be faithful, and then shout! Testify your faith in the promises of God.
Imagine the joy they must have felt to have the walls come tumbling down after their belief, obedience and perseverance. They saw God working on their behalf. It was through no power of theirs, only their belief, obedience and perseverance in what God told them. The word of God says that obedience is better than sacrifice (1 Samuel 15:22).
God is able to do so much more than we ask, think or even imagine (Ephesians 3:20). We have to trust Him for our own walls to come down. He is able. Do we have the faith? Put your armor on Christian soldier. It is time we start marching for the problems and burdens in our own lives. Let’s watch those walls come down!

Father God,
We love and adore You. There is no one at any time nor shall there ever be who is greater than You. We praise Your holy name. Today we come before Your throne asking You for wisdom and guidance in navigating the path that You have set out for us to follow. Help us to stay on the track. We ask for You to show us what to pray and believe You for. We ask that You would grant us even more faith as we see the walls of doubt, fear, sickness or insecurity come falling down. We shout hallelujah for our God will overcome. We believe in You and Your power, Lord, please just help our unbelief. May we shine like the stars in the sky for Your glory. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
