We need to bring all of our worries and fears to God. When we worry or fear, we are not trusting Him. When it appears God is silent, trust Him, lean on Him and remember all of the things He has done. Dwell on Him and in His presence.
Isaiah 57:11 NASB Of whom were you worried and fearful when you lied, and did not remember Me Nor give Me a thought? Was I not silent even for a long time so you do not fear Me?
If God seems silent, cry out to Him.
Psalm 28:1 NASB To You, O Lord, I call; My rock, do not be deaf to me, For if You are silent to me, I will become like those who go down to the pit.
He is rejoicing over you with shouts of joy! Consider His silence a blanket of love and embrace Him even more. Embrace the truth that you know from His word.
Zephaniah 3:17 NASB The Lord your God is in your midst, A victorious warrior. He will exult over you with joy, He will be quiet in His love, He will rejoice over you with shouts of joy.
Never forget that we serve a holy God. He is the Lord God Almighty and we are to reverence Him and give Him the respect and awe that He deserves.
Father God,
We thank and praise You for all that You are. You are holy, righteous and true. Thank You for the comfort of Your word. You are always there for us. Even in our darkest night, You are there. There is no place that we can run from Your presence. You know everything about us. Help us to praise, trust and seek You more when we feel like You are silent. You will, have and are moving in our behalf. You can see all of infinity and we are limited to the here and now. It is hard, sometimes, for us to trust in the unknown. As humans, we want to see the answer and have things our way, right away and all of the time. We just want to thank You for comforting us today with the truths found in Your word. Continue to do a mighty work in and through us as we submit to Your Lordship and Your authority. We give You, our Sovereign Lord, all our praise.
If you do not know Jesus but would like to know more about Him, please read the following blog titled, You Never Let Us Go. God bless. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/you-never-let-us-go/
I wondered where your post was?! π

That’s an important thing I had to learn – that God is working on our behalf even though we’re not aware of it. It was always on looking back that I could see the blessings of why certain events took the turn they did and realised that God had had things in control all along.
Happy Saturday!
Just wanted to ask – is baby a boy or girl and have mum and dad got a name for him/her yet? π

Hi Lesley, Hope you have a fantastic weekend. My daughter will be released today or tomorrow. We are praying that the baby will be released soon as well from the NICU. Baby is a girl. They named her Kayleigh Marie. Isn’t that pretty? Marie for me as it is my middle name. π
