Blessed Hope

Revelation 22:12 NKJV “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last.”

Don’t be caught unaware. The Lord is not slack concerning His promises. That which he has said He will do. God is merciful. He doesn’t want any to perish (2 Peter 3:9). To the Lord a thousand years is a day and a day is as a thousand years (2 Peter 3:8). One thing we can be sure of is, He is coming back for His church. Time is moving forward, so we are closer to His coming than we were yesterday. Please don’t be impatient, just trust the Lord.

Think about our blessed hope, the Second Coming of Christ. There will be no more sin and suffering, no more battles with temptation, no more guilt, no more illness, no more death, weeping, anger, resentment, unforgiveness, lust, greed, jealousy, rejection or disappointment. Fill your mind with the truths contained in the word of God and do not listen to the scoffers (Philippians 4:8). Have pity on them for if they do not change their ways, we know what their end will be (Acts 13:41).

Pray with me please

Lord God,

What an exciting time we are living in. We are closer to Your Second Coming than we were yesterday or the day before. Truly, this is an exciting time because all of the signs are pointing us home! It is going to be so awesome to see You! We simply cannot wait. Help us to dwell in Your word and not listen to the scoffers. Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
