No Copay Required

Copay defined is a payment made by a beneficiary usually in healthcare. With God, there is no copay required for salvation. There is absolutely nothing we can physically do to earn it. The only way to receive the greatest gift of eternal life is to trust in what God has already provided for us on the cross (Ephesians 2:8-9). Our sin debt was paid in full by Jesus. He said in the Bible, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me (John 14:6).”

If you were to die today, are you 100% sure that you would go to Heaven? If your answer is no, please read the following verses with me to see what the Bible says about how you can be sure.

  • First of all what keeps us from Heaven is our sin (bad things we have done).

Isaiah 59:2 NLT It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, He has turned away and will not listen anymore.

The Bible says that we are all sinners.

Romans 3:23 NLT For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.

  • Realize that there is nothing that we can do to earn salvation.

Ephesians 2:8-9 NKJV For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

  • There is only one way to get to Heaven and that is through Jesus Christ.

John 14:6 NKJV Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Romans 5:8-9 NKJV But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him.

  • Repent. You have to be sorry for the wrongs you have done. Admit that you are a sinner and that you cannot save yourself.

Romans 10:9-13 NKJV  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

Now if you want to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and repent for your sins, please say this prayer today.

Dear God, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I admit to You that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness.

I believe that Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin.

You said in the Bible that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that You raised Jesus from the dead, we shall be saved.

Right now I confess with my mouth, Jesus is my Lord. With my heart, I believe that You, God Almighty, raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own Lord and personal Savior. According to Your Word, right now I know I am saved by the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Oh my friend, if you have said that prayer and meant it with all of your heart, there is rejoicing in heaven over your decision today. I rejoice with all of heaven. Praise the Lord and welcome to the family of God, dear brother or sister. Now, please stay close to the Lord. Pray every day. Prayer is just talking to God. See my blogs titled Next Step and From Your Heart for more information on prayer. Read your Bible (God’s Holy word) (2 Timothy 2:15). Try to find a good Bible preaching church (Hebrews 10:25) and get baptized. Jesus led the way in being baptized (Matthew 3:14-16). Peter said to repent and be baptized (Acts 2:38).

Acts 2:41-42 NKJV Then those who gladly received his word were baptized; and that day about three thousand souls were added to them. 42 And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
