Stay close to God through prayer and Bible study.
James 5:16 NKJV Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.
2 Timothy 2:15 KJV Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
We can not neglect our prayer life. Prayer is powerful. Look around and see the condition of this world that we live in. This is not the time to be wishy-washy in our faith. Jesus said if we were lukewarm He would spew us out of His mouth (Revelation 3:16). We have to know, that we know, that we know that we are saved. We have to be on fire for God. Where does our help come from? Our help comes from the Lord.
Be ready for the Lord’s return. If He came tonight would you be embarrassed by anything that you are saying or doing?
We are not lukewarm Christians. We will follow the Lord and find His will for us. Our houses will be cleaned and in order. We will stay in prayer and be watchful. The Lord is coming soon. We do not know the day or the hour, but we do know that His coming is imminent and is one day sooner than yesterday. So let’s be ready!
Revelation 16:15 NKJV “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”

Father God,
How magnificent You are in all of Your ways. Help us to stay ready for Your appearing. Help us to be waiting and watching. Continue to draw us closer to Your side. Give us more of a desire to pray, read Your word and worship You. We lay ourselves at Your feet and ask that Your will be done. Fill us with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ mighty name we pray. Amen.

That is great Jan. 🙂 Unfortunately, I make, (sometimes daily), mistakes. I get so frustrated with me. I am so thankful the Lord is merciful and His mercies are new every day.
Yay it is Friday!!! I hope you and I have a great weekend. God bless you. Hugs.

My “Nope” does not connote perfection. Of course, I make mistakes every day. But, because of the grace of Christ, I do not need to be embarrassed by my mistakes. I only need to acknowledge them, ask for forgiveness, learn from them, and try not to repeat the same mistakes too many times!!
