Break Through

All sin separates us from God (Isaiah 59:2). It is time to repent while there is still time (Acts 2:38).

We cannot atone for sin ourselves. We must confess Jesus as our Lord and Savior and live for Him (Romans 10:8-10).

God is always good. He never fails or makes mistakes.

It is time to live what we know to be true according to the word of God. Remember, judgement begins with the house of God (1 Peter 4:17). We would be deceiving ourselves if we were hearers and not doers of God’s word (James 1:22-25).

Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

No matter what comes your way, stay strong in Your faith. Don’t ever give up. It is when we are weak, then He is strong (2 Corinthians 12:10).

Jeremiah 17:9 NKJV The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?

Our hearts can be so changeable. The problem is priorities. We can be easily distracted. It is time to get back in the word and get back to God. Then stay focused on Him and not the storms!

James 4:8 NKJV Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Prioritize. What is important in the grand scheme of things? The answer is God. If your answer is God, then keep Him first. If you have gotten off track, come back to Him. Everything in this world is temporary, nothing will last. The only thing that will matter is whether or not your name is written in the Lamb’s book of life (Luke 10:20). We are to store up our treasure in heaven (Matthew 6:19-21).

Pray with me please

Father God,

Please help us to live for Your glory. May we live to love You, our neighbor and even our enemies. Help us to make time to meditate on Your word and make time for talking to You. We declare that You are number one and we long to know You even more. We yearn for more of You in every area of our life. We pray that our words and actions would honor You. Thank You Jesus for coming to set us free from the things that are trying to enslave us. We ask that You tear down any idol and break through any barrier that is separating us from You. We trust You. In Your name we pray. Amen.
