Wrath of God

Romans 1:18 NASB For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth in unrighteousness

The Bible says that even the demons tremble before God (James 2:19). We cannot  suppress the truth. If the choice is made to disobey God and His rules, then His wrath will come (Colossians 3:5-6). God is the Judge (Romans 2:16). He is love but He doesn’t tolerate sin because sin is the very opposite of His nature. A very high price was paid at Calvary for the sins of mankind.

Romans 5:6 NASB But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

John 3:16 NKJV For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

If you haven’t done so yet, repent and ask Jesus to come into your heart and forgive you for your sins (Romans 10:10) or one day you will face the wrath of God (2 Corinthians 5:10, Revelation 21:8 & Matthew 7:23). There is a heaven and there is a literal fiery hell. For more information on hell and how to keep from going there, read my blog titled, Hell. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/04/10/hell/

One day all sin will be judged (Hebrews 9:27). Please come to God today. He is standing there at your heart’s door knocking (Revelation 3:20). Won’t you please open the door and let Him in?

Father God,

You are mercy, love and kindness. You have given us free will. It is up to us whether we choose to serve You or not. The consequences for our decisions are all laid out in Your word. There is a price to pay for sin. We know it separates people from You. We ask that we would shine so bright for Your glory. Please remove any and all sin from our lives. For those who do not know You, we ask that today would be the day that they would ask for Your forgiveness, that today would be the day they would ask Jesus to come into their heart and be their Lord and Savior. Oh God, our time is short on this earth. May we make a difference for Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

      1. We did virtual church this morning and the sermon was from James 4, stating to ask for God’s Will to be done. 13 Now listen, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to this or that city, spend a year there, carry on business and make money.” 14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes. 15 Instead, you ought to say, “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” Now my plans are foiled and I need to see what God wants! 🙂 If He allows it, I’m making Dave dessert that I never made for his birthday on Wed next. 😉

      2. I reread your post and love it. Especially your part of “We are sincerely 100 percent sold out to You. You own our homes, finances, health, well-being and our future.” What a secure feeling.

A simple French recipe of apples, cinnamon, sugar and fresh butter. Topped with Death by Chocolate ice cream. Delicious 😋
