Five Truths of God’s Judgement

Second set of notes from Derek Prince and his sermon Final Judgement Divided into eight blogs. Some people just like to read and I have found his sermons very helpful in my Christian walk.

  • God’s judgement is based on real facts.

Romans 2:2 NKJV But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against those who practice such things

  • God will render to each according to his deeds.

Romans 2:6 NKJV who “will render to each one according to his deeds”

1 Peter 1:17 NKJV And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear

Revelation 20:12 NKJV And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.

  • God doesn’t think more of any one based on their political, physical or monetary status. Everyone is treated the same.

Romans 2:11 KJV For there is no respect of persons with God.

  • God will judge according to the knowledge of what we do know according to the Bible.

Romans 2:12 NKJV  For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law

  • God will judge our secret thoughts, motives and attitudes.

Romans 2:16 NKJV  In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.

Pray with me please

Father God,

Thank You for Your beauty and holiness. Your very name is holy. Everything about You is perfect. You have given us so many examples of Your attributes in Your holy word. Thank You for being our righteous Judge. Help us to understand that Your Judgement will come. May we be ready is our cry today. Continue to prepare our hearts, minds and our very thoughts. May we be pleasing to You in every single thing we do or say. May even our motives be correct according to Your word. We pray for Your kingdom to come and Your will be done in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I confess that Jesus is Lord (Philippians 2:11)! We are not to believe every spirit, but to try them to see if they are from God. For there are many false prophets. The Bible says this is how we will know: Every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. And is the spirit of the antichrist (1 John 4:1-3).
