Psalm 27:1 NKJV The Lord is my light and my salvation;
Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?
We know that we, as Christians, will make mistakes. The question is, when we do make the mistakes and we see the light will we run to the Light and get cleaned up, or will we run away from the Light and cower in darkness? We are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14), because of Christ in us. We are the city on a hill.
Jesus is God (14:9). God is the word ( John 1 ). He gives us light for His word is the Light (Psalm 119:105). He will give us the oil we need to shine bright for Him. We just have to stay plugged in to the Word. Dig in deep to His word. That is one of the ways He talks to us. He will show us the way. If we get off of the narrow path, His word will bring us back. He is there for us every time we slip or fall. Come to the Light. Stay in the Light. Run to the Light. Walk with the Light. He will guide you in all your ways (Proverbs 3:6). This is no time to turn back now. Whatever your failure was, ask God to use it for His glory. Don’t let the little bump in the road take your eyes off the main goal. We have come too far to give up now. Besides, what does the world have to offer us? Nothing. We have everything we need in Jesus.

Father God,
Thank You for being the God who sees and hears us (Genesis 16:13 & 1 John 5:14). You love us and have such compassion on Your children. Your mercy is new every day. Your kindness is from everlasting to everlasting (Psalm 103:17). You withhold no good thing from Your children and we thank and praise You for that (Psalm 84:11). Today we ask for Your help in getting back on track for Your kingdom.
Forgive us for acting in the flesh, saying the wrong things or lacking faith. We ask that You would fill us with fresh oil. We ask that Your anointing be upon us, and that in whatever way we have failed You, that You would use it for Your glory. We aren’t going away from You, we are running to You, scars and all. We know that You are the only One who can take our failures, pasts and mistakes and make a masterpiece. Thank You for gathering the broken and shattered pieces of our lives, that can cut, but they do not cut You. In Your hands we are put back together. Thank You for the blessed peace that we have just laying everything at Your feet. We are holding nothing back. We are not trying to hide anything from You. We come before You longing for Your touch. Help us, Lord, as we need Your strength, to help others. We will give You all the praise for You alone are worthy. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

That is cool that you sang it in church. God is so good. I find music so uplifting. All I listen to is Christian music, but I have a wide variety that I like. Christian rap, Contemporary Christian, Country Christian, Southern Gospel and Rock Christian. God gave us a lot of talented artists to be able to reach so many.
You have a blessed day as well sister! I think I had this in the wrong section, so I am putting it under your comment and deleting the one I had here.

Good afternoon, {{{Donna}}} – That subject of touch was part of what motivated my blog on hugging today. I appreciated your prayer and pray with you, “We come before You longing for Your touch. Help us, Lord, as we need Your strength, to help others.” Amen! God bless you! ❤
