On Center for God

1 John 2:15-17 NKJV Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world. 17 And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever.

We need to get centered. What has your attention and time? The will of God is to center our lives around Him. God’s greatest commandment is that we would just love Him with all of what makes us who we are and to love our neighbor as ourselves (Luke 10:27). We are told in Matthew 6 verse 33 to seek the Kingdom of God first and His righteousness. That means to give Him first place in our lives and to live as He wants us to live. It is up to us whether we want to let God have first place in our life and it is up to us whether we want to live our lives as He would have us to. Will we stay centered on God and keep following His word to find guidance for our lives? We have free will. It is now and always has been our choice. Choose this day whom you will serve. As for me and my house we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15).

Dearest Lord and most holy heavenly Father,

We adore You. Thank You for being so close to Your children. You are so loving and personal. You are not something made by human hands. You are God Almighty. You are the great I Am. You are everlasting and of Your mercy there is no end. You are the fountain of life and those who drink freely will be sheltered in Your arms. We are safe and secure in You. There is no-one or nothing we want more than You. Thank You for walking with us and for guiding us. Your presence is all that we need. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
