Let Me Tell You About My Jesus

Revelation 13:1-5 TLB And now, in my vision, I saw a strange Creature rising up out of the sea. It had seven heads and ten horns, and ten crowns upon its horns. And written on each head were blasphemous names, each one defying and insulting God. This Creature looked like a leopard but had bear’s feet and a lion’s mouth! And the Dragon gave him his own power and throne and great authority.

I saw that one of his heads seemed wounded beyond recovery—but the fatal wound was healed! All the world marveled at this miracle and followed the Creature in awe. They worshiped the Dragon for giving him such power, and they worshiped the strange Creature. “Where is there anyone as great as he?” they exclaimed. “Who is able to fight against him?”

Then the Dragon encouraged the Creature to speak great blasphemies against the Lord; and gave him authority to control the earth for forty-two months.

Satan is so deceptive. For now, he can tempt, manipulate and torture. There is one thing he will never be able to do and that is have more power than the Lord. Jesus has all power. So to the people who will be saying, “Where is there anyone as great as he?” “Who is able to fight against him?”, I say there is One coming whose voice is like mighty thunder. One who can move mountains. One who parted the Red Sea. One who at His very name the demons run and flee. One who conquered death, hell and the grave. One Who is  King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords. His name is Jesus, Emmanuel, I Am, Living Bread, Alpha and Omega, Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Prince of Peace, Everlasting Father, Salvation, Lamb of God and the Good Shepherd to name a few of His names. He is God and there is no other. He will win in the end. Satan may have his allotted time, for now, but it is the Lord God Almighty who will be the Victor over all.

Revelation 19:19-20 KJV And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army. 20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

So, now is a real good time to come to the Lord. If you do not know Him, please come today while there is still time. He is drawing a line in the sand. Will you go with Him when He comes back for His church? He loves you and is calling you, even now, to come. Heavenly Father,

You are Lord of all creation. You are supreme. There is none like You in all of the land. We exalt, magnify and worship Your name. You are seated on Your throne on high. Your power is endless. There is absolutely nothing You cannot do. We thank and praise You that we are safe in Your arms. To those who may be reading, but do not know You as their Lord and Savior, we ask that You would convict them and draw them ever so near to Your side before it is too late. Thank You for everything. We are so blessed. We love You with all of our heart. Please use us to do mighty things for Your Kingdom. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

    1. Snowy? Ugh! It is 81 here and we have a very nice wind going. I love/ hate the warmer weather. I love it for me but hate it for my hubby as he works in this heat and has no reprieve from the elements. Which can be real bad for a person.
My day has been wonderful so far. I had the privilege of walking with my sister(over the phone) and then we read the word of God together. That is such a huge blessing to share the word of the Lord with family members.
Now I just have to make dinner tonight for my wonderful family.
Hope your day is going well. Sending you a hug ❤

      3. My day is the opposite of yours! I have a PW (Presbyterian Women) meeting at 1: and need to do the agenda for it (I’m moderator of the group). Then at 4:00, we have company for dinner, so I need to get ready for dinner sometime between now and 1: Tomorrow will be calmer. But busy can be fabulous, too! ❤
