Imagine with me that this moment was the last chance you had before you faced eternity. Weird things happen all of the time. Freak accidents happen and no-one is guaranteed tomorrow, let alone their very next breath.
So, what if this were your last chance to accept the Lord Jesus? Do you know Him? Are you walking with Him in the fullness of His power? Is there anything that you shouldn’t be doing, wearing or saying?
Luke 12 NKJV
And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:
17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?
18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?
21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Thank You so much for giving us so many chances to come to You. You gave the ultimate gift on the cross for the sins of mankind and all we have to do is accept Your gift. How sad that some still refuse. They make excuses and say well maybe tomorrow that they will accept Jesus. Oh, Lord, please speak to hearts today and soften them. Let people know that now is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2). Today is the day (Hebrews 4:7). Draw those in who do not know You. Help those of us who do know You and have accepted You as our Lord and Savior to be great witnesses of Yours through everything we say, how we act and the things that we do. May our lives shine for You. We love You and thank You that You give so many opportunities to all people everywhere to make their choice as to whether or not they will accept Your free gift of salvation. Thank You for Your great love. You proved Your love for us, in that even while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). We pray only and always in Jesus’ name. Amen.
