Luke 10:27 NKJV So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’ and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’ ”
Everything we have which makes us who we are is who we are to love the Lord with. He desires our heart, soul, strength and mind. Nothing less. We are not to be lukewarm. We are not to be on the fence. We have to be wholeheartedly serving the Lord through our completely surrendered lives. We need to always say, not our will but thine be done. He is God. He knows what is best. He knows everything. The things we think might be for our good, really aren’t good at all. He knows that. We have to trust Him that His will is always better and that He will have His way if we submit ourselves to Him.
Love is giving your all to a person and not holding anything back. Have you surrendered your all to Jesus? Is He your Lord and Savior? When you have a problem, do you turn to Him first and cry out with tears to Him? Do you serve Him willingly and loyally? Is He the One that you turn to in all matters of the heart? He deserves it all and He wants for us to give Him all of our heart, tears and devotion. He alone can help us and He alone will always turn our messes into messages if we allow Him in. Does He have your heart? I pray that you would turn to Him today. Walk closer to Him. In every aspect of your life turn to Him. He is waiting anxiously.
Oh how we adore You. Thank You for Your great love. You are so awesome! We surrender to You today. We want You to guide us in every step we take, word we say and action we make. We want to be pleasing in Your sight. Thank You for wanting our hearts and with them all of our baggage, our pains, our hurts, our losses, our failures and our pain from betrayals or any other thing that has caused us pain. You love us. You are concerned with every detail of our lives. Thank You for that. You see us for who we are and You love us. You loved us while we were sinners, way before we came to You. It was Your great love that called us to Your side. Today, we pray that many more will be drawn to You through our submitted lives. What joy when we get to Heaven and see how You have used us for Your glory, even, yes especially through the hard times. We know that You are near to the broken-hearted. With all that we have to give and with the words meaning so much more than the weight of what we can even put into words we say thank You. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
