Doesn’t Amount to a Hill of Beans

Something of little or no importance, value, or worth is what todays title means. Preconceived notions which don’t amount to a hill of beans, have to go. We cannot fully love and embrace people in our lives with the following thoughts about them.

• They are lazy.
• They are self-centered.
• They don’t care about their kids.
• They cheated on their spouse.
• Look at what she is wearing.

If we find ourselves saying, or thinking, those or any other derogatory thoughts about others, it is time to take action.

STOP whatever you are doing.

DROP to your knees (spiritually if need be) and

ROLL over those thoughts with repentance to God offering prayers up for them.

All of these people are still worthy in God’s eyes. He is not willing that any should perish. He loves them right where they are and if we are going to show the love of God to them, it is absolutely imperative that we drop those preconceived notions. None of those things matter. God is the Judge. Elohim has created us all. The mission we have is to love.

“A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” – John 13:34-35, KJV.

Father God,

How awesome You are. How lovely and wonderful are Your creations. Help us to truly love others as You love us and also to show that love in everything that we think, do or say. Teach us to stop, drop and roll. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
