Mountain Movers

Genesis 17:1 KJV And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly.

The Hebrew word for God Almighty is El Shaddai  the God who is more than enough – more than sufficient. It means that He has the power to complete all of His promises.

2 Corinthians 9:8 NASB And God is able to make all grace overflow to you, so that, always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed

What is required of us? Faith. Without faith it is impossible to please God. Just believe that what He has said He will do. It is not what we can do. If we have faith, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13). Faith that moves mountains is what we need in today’s day and age. Are you with me? Let’s pray for God to increase our faith for the fulfillment of His will for our lives.

El Shaddai (Father God),

We just want to say thank You for Your bountiful gifts that You have bestowed upon us. We do not want to take a single thing for granted. Thank You for drawing us nearer to You. Thank You for Your precious word which is our guidance. You are so merciful and loving. You bless us beyond our wildest imaginings. You are doing things that we might not even realize You are doing. Thanks so much. Today we do ask that You would increase our faith for the fulfillment of Your will for our lives. We love You and are so excited to be used by You in whatever manner You deem necessary. You are our Rock, our Fortress and our great Redeemer. Through You we can do all things. Wrap us all up in Your loving care. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
