Aim

To aim is have the intention of achieving. What is your aim for in life? Is it your goal to serve God wholeheartedly and your resolve to see His Kingdom come and His purposes prevail in your life? Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Are you walking hand-in-hand with the Master? Is Jesus leading you in all things through His word, studying and prayer? Is it your aim to hear Him say, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your Lord (Matthew 25:21).’ Are you rejoicing in His truths contained in His word? Do you have fellowship with Him daily? Are you walking in His strength and power?

If yes is the answer, then praise the Lord! If not, and you might be thinking how you want to do those things, but haven’t yet, may I encourage you to come to Him today? He alone can fill the emptiness in your soul. He alone can be the answer to every question you may have. It is not hard to make time for the One who loves you the most. I beg you to draw near to Him today. Open His word and let Him speak to you.

You Never Let Us Go. God bless. https://thefathersfeet.wordpress.com/2020/01/07/you-never-let-us-go/

Philippians 3:12-21 NLT I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me. 13 No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

15 Let all who are spiritually mature agree on these things. If you disagree on some point, I believe God will make it plain to you. 16 But we must hold on to the progress we have already made.

17 Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example. 18 For I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. 19 They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and they think only about this life here on earth. 20 But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for Him to return as our Savior. 21 He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which He will bring everything under His control.

Pray with me please.

Father God,

We thank You for calling us to Your side. We thank You for Your great love that was shown on the cross. You gave Your all for us there. You have shown us the better way. Please help us to walk in that way. Whatever we have learned that is the truth may we be able to lay aside any hurt or pride and just do the things that we know that are pleasing in Your sight. The only thing that matters is what You think of us, what You think of our behavior, what You think of our dealings with others. May we always exemplify the fruit of the Spirit in our lives. Sometimes it is hard, Father, to do that which we know is right for it requires laying down our ‘rights’ and picking up the needs of others. We need You, Lord. May our only aim be to be pleasing in Your sight. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
